Thanksgiving

Justin's parents spent Thanksgiving with us this year in Arizona. They stayed with us for two weeks. We enjoyed Christmas shopping, going for walks in the nice weather, and playing our favorite card game called "hand and foot." It was fun seeing them and spending time with them. We were also able to celebrate Braeden's 1 year birthday while they with us. Braeden had his first taste of chocolate cake and loved it.

Braeden

These pictures were taken when Braeden was 9 months old, but I didn't have a scanner to scan them in so I am finally getting them put up now. I am not that great at keeping our blog updated, but I am trying to do better. Anyways, Braeden is now 1 year old and is doing great. I can't believe 1 whole year has gone by. We just have so much fun with him and watching him do new things all the time. He is not quite walking yet, but probably will be anyday now. His favorite thing to do right now is pull everything out of the pantry and everything off of the shelves.

Mexican Riviera Cruise

Justin and I went on a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera which included stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. My parents came out to Arizona to watch our little boy, Braeden, for us while we enjoyed our vacation. Our favorite excursion was in Puerto Vallarta where we were taken by boat to a isolated jungle, then rode in a military vehicle into the Sierra Madre Mountains, then a mule ride to the very top. Then we began a series of ziplines 250 ft off the ground and rappelled down 2 waterfalls. It was definitely an adventure and was so much fun. We had a great time on our cruise, and enjoyed relaxing and doing many activities, but we definitely missed our little boy.

Eating in the formal dining room. The food was good all week long, but we were sick of eating after the week was over. After a week of 7 course meals, you can definitely get sick of food.

In Cabo San Lucas we took a boat out to Los Arcos. We walked around the downtown area and even stopped to hold the cute iguanas.

In Mazatlan, we took an open taxi around the whole area to see the main sites. We saw the cliff divers, the historic Cathedral, the main city area and the beautiful coastline. We definitely got a feel for the Mexian culture.
